QCM Sensors
A QCM sensor consists of a thin quartz disc that is coated with a pair of gold electrodes. The sensor can be excited to oscillate at its resonance frequency by the application of an alternating voltage.
The resonance frequency of the sensor depends on the total oscillating mass of the sensor and sensor surface adhering layers, including coupled water. The frequency decreases when a thin film is attached to the sensor.
The sensor is a critical part of a QCM experiments; we therefore guarantee the quality and stability of all our standard QCM Sensors. We offer a wide range of coatings such as gold, Ti, SiO2, as well as customized coatings.
QCM sensors are consumables of QCM technology and it can be costly with intensive usage. We propose QCM sensors at a few times more affordable price.
14 mm diameter sensors are compatible with QCM-D system.
Resonance frequency : 3 MHz, 4 MHz and 5 MHz
